About Course

Our Mission
Sharing ancient Taoist wellness with the modern world.
For a life of balance, vitality, and peace.

This course is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and ancient Taoist practices for calming the nervous system, relaxing the body, and promoting deep, restorative sleep. It combines three gentle pre-sleep Qigong movements with three traditional Taoist sleeping postures to support your body and mind through the night.

TCM-Based Approach

System Thinking:
In TCM, poor sleep is often linked to imbalances in qi (vital energy), organ function, or emotional tension. This course uses gentle movement and positioning to regulate the nervous system, smooth the qi flow, and prepare the body for restful sleep.

Daily Wind-Down Ritual:
Practicing a short, calming routine before bed helps signal the body it’s time to rest. These movements and postures are designed to settle the mind, release tension, and guide your energy inward for the night.

Prevention First:
Instead of relying on medication or forcing sleep, Taoist wisdom teaches us to prepare the body gently and consistently each night. These natural methods help reduce sleep disruptions and improve overall sleep quality over time.

Symmetry and Stillness:
The pre-sleep movements balance both sides of the body and activate gentle circulation. Taoist sleeping postures then help align the body, relieve pressure points, and support healthy organ function during sleep.

Smooth Flow = Calm Mind:
Tension and restlessness often come from stagnant qi. These practices support the smooth internal flow needed for the body to enter a state of peaceful rest.

Organ Health and the Shen (Spirit):
According to TCM, peaceful sleep depends on balanced internal organs and a settled “Shen” (spirit). This course helps calm the heart, nourish the kidneys, and restore harmony to the whole system.
